An agentic SDLC is a software development lifecycle where AI agents perform meaningful, semi-autonomous work at one or more stages, planning, coding, review, testing, or deployment, under human oversight. It differs from AI-assisted coding by making agents accountable for a full unit of work, not just a suggestion.
